Parent and Child – Thursday mornings

This program provides a warm and nurturing environment for playing, learning and socializing.

The morning is a time for the children to play and participate in a circle with rhymes and songs. It is also a time for parents to socialize, share parenting journeys and renew themselves. The program will be offered on the Tapiola property at 140 Pento Rd., T-Bay.  It is a recreational site with forest, trails and a river, next door to the North McIntyre Recreation Centre which has a playground.

The program is from 9:00 – 11:30. The program is offered on Thursdays.  The schedule is flexible and can be attended according to your child’s needs.  Parents will find children of similar ages and enjoy their time together on our nature campus.  Children in the 2.5-3.5 year old age can find friends and play groups can form.  Mom’s with babies may consider coming at 9ish so that they can leave after a while to accommodate a morning nap.  Or come for a walk around the beautiful Tapiola property with a baby sling/wrap.

The program is offered on Thursdays per term and will be led by Liisa Hymander.  Registration is requested for each term and can be completed on-line. The fee is $100 per term.

Fall Term:  September 23- November 18;  Winter Term – January 13 – March 3;  Spring Term – April 7- June 2.  The program will be outside for part of the morning and the snack will be inside the Tapiola building.  Please bring a snack to share

We look forward to welcoming you to our circle.
