Friday Adventure

The Adventure program connects children to nature, to themselves and peers through play and the arts. The program gives the children the opportunity to be in the forest, exploring the trails, and ponds. Their experience of nature and oneself is further developed through the arts and stories.

The program follows the rhythm of the seasons. The children live into nature as it evolves through the year and create within themselves a deeper relationship to its wisdom and their own strengths and capacities. The group of children gain comfort in being together and the individual learns the ups and downs of being in a group. The child is invited also into celebrating the seasonal festivals and becoming part of a group of children and families creating community.
